The main goal of this project is to create a network of 10 social veterinary clinics located strategically in the following regions: Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Kropyvnytskyi and Vinnytsia. These clinics will serve as key centres to address the growing stray animal population and the influx of displaced people from the front line.
The project aims to provide comprehensive and accessible veterinary services in well-known social clinics. These services will include vaccinations against various diseases and viruses, identification and chipping of animals for registration, spaying/neutering to control the animal population, and immediate veterinary care for injured or traumatised animals.
The project’s key goal is to create employment opportunities for veterinary professionals. The network of charitable veterinary clinics will employ and provide jobs for more than 50 qualified veterinarians. This way, the project aims to contribute to the professional development of these specialists, enabling them to use their experience to serve society and address the specific veterinary needs that have arisen as a result of the war.
By achieving these goals, the Ukrainian Charity Veterinary Clinic project will create vital infrastructure that will provide essential veterinary care to animals affected by the war.
By establishing a network of clinics, providing comprehensive services and employment opportunities, the project will improve the lives of animals, affected communities, and contribute to a healthier and more compassionate environment for all.
