Today, thanks to the grant, we have purchased and handed over the car to a family of veterinarians who have been cooperating with USAVA for over 2 years. These are Daria and Andrii Ponomarenko from Zaporizhzhia, a region near the frontline, where hundreds of animals from the most remote areas need help.
Within two weeks, the vehicle will be equipped with everything you need: from an ultrasound machine to surgical instruments! Doctors will be able to examine and help animals right on the spot. In addition, the veterinary assistance on wheels will allow to bring patients in critical condition or with severe injuries to the clinic in time.
We sincerely thank American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) for their important support of Ukrainian veterinarians. Thanks to your concern, a significant number of stray animals and pets will be able to receive quality veterinary care in the most remote corners of the country.
