UVMF & NAVC — together for animals, despite the war

No matter where in the world, animals deserve quality medical care. And even during the war, Ukrainian veterinarians continue to save lives — at home, in clinics, and on the front lines.

It is for them that the Ukrainian Association of Small Animal Veterinary Medicine USAVA, together with the North American Veterinary Community NAVC, held dozens of events this year — from lectures at the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine to large-scale forums, workshops, master classes, and the USAVA International Congress.

The goal is to improve the quality of veterinary care, provide access to cutting-edge knowledge, innovative resources, and opportunities for professional growth.

“I would like to thank NAVC for helping to organize such a wonderful event for learning and sharing experiences. The organization is top-notch,” said Artem Katyuk, a speaker at the forum.

Among this year’s speakers were Dr. Keren Klein and a true friend of Ukraine, Jörg Mayer (USA), who attended the USAVA Congress for the second time:

“The audience is very attentive and asks interesting questions. I can see that they really want to learn. For me, as a lecturer, this is a great joy.”

Doctors from charity clinics also joined the training.

True friends are there in the most difficult times. USAVA and NAVC have been working together for many years, but right now, during a full-scale war, this support has become even stronger — financially, informationally, and morally.

We thank everyone who helps Ukraine remain strong, professional, and humane.

We are unbreakable, but each of us needs SUPPORT.
