Partnership for professional growth: ECVIM-CA and the Ukrainian Foundation of Veterinary Medicine

We are pleased to share great news! The Ukrainian Veterinary Medicine Foundation has received support from friends and partners – the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Companion Animals (ECVIM-CA).

This cooperation is aimed at developing postgraduate education for Ukrainian veterinarians. Thanks to ECVIM-CA, we will be able to continue to provide continuous training at the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine and raise the level of professionalism among the veterinary community of Ukraine.

ECVIM-CA is a veterinary specialty organization first recognized by the European Board of Veterinary Specialization (EBVS) in 1994.

The College was developed by the European Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ESVIM) as a result of initiatives in the late 1980s to respond to the growing demand for better specialized veterinary services for companion animals and to harmonize certification in this field to better inform consumers.

The main objectives of the College are to promote the study, research and practice of veterinary internal medicine, cardiology and oncology in Europe, and to enhance the competence of those practicing in this field through advanced training.

We sincerely thank ECVIM-CA for their trust and significant contribution to our common future. Together, we are making important steps towards creating a stronger, more educated veterinary community that will help our pets at the highest level!
