UVMF’s work is made possible by the support of individuals, organizations, foundations, and companies that share our commitment to helping animals, advancing veterinary medicine in Ukraine, and supporting the professionals who work every day to protect animal health and welfare.
Every contribution from our donors translates into tangible support: treatment and rescue of animals, sterilization and vaccination, mobile veterinary services, the development of charity veterinary clinics, and veterinary education.
We are grateful to everyone who contributes to this work and helps us continue providing assistance where it is needed most.
One of our key international partners is FOUR PAWS, an international animal welfare organization with which UVMF implements veterinary assistance programs in Ukraine.
Together with FOUR PAWS, we have opened and support three charity veterinary clinics — in Nikopol, Irpin, and Zaporizhzhia.
These clinics provide access to veterinary care for animals and support communities that particularly need assistance.
Our partnership with FOUR PAWS allows us not only to provide care to individual animals but also to create long-term veterinary care infrastructure that continues to serve local communities.
UVMF received important support from Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. through the “Mobile Veterinary Assistance — Odesa Region” grant program.
The program provides free veterinary care to animals in particularly vulnerable circumstances.
Assistance is provided to:
The wider program involved 28 shelters. Mobile veterinary teams worked across different communities in the Odesa region, combining mobile services with stationary veterinary points.
This support made it possible to bring veterinary care directly to communities and animals with limited access to veterinary services.
Our partners also support the development of the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine (USVM) — UVMF’s educational initiative dedicated to providing Ukrainian veterinary professionals with modern knowledge and opportunities for professional development.
Thanks to donor support, USVM can organize educational events, engage Ukrainian and international experts, provide practical training, and create professional development opportunities for veterinarians and students.
Among the partners and organizations that have supported veterinary education and UVMF’s activities are FOUR PAWS, NAVC, DVG, FECAVA, Pro Salus Foundation, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), the Worldwide Veterinary Ecological Alliance (WVEA), Tufts University, and other partners and donors.
We value every form of support — financial, professional, expert, and partnership support.
Thanks to our donors, UVMF can provide veterinary care, establish and support charity veterinary clinics, operate mobile veterinary teams, and develop veterinary education in Ukraine.
We are grateful to everyone who helps us build a system in which veterinary care and professional education are more accessible to those who need them most.
Thank you for helping us help others.
