A Serviceman’s Dog Received Surgical Care Through the UVMF and The Edgard & Cooper Foundation Program

A Ukrainian serviceman and his son came to the veterinary clinic seeking help for their beloved dog. During the examination, veterinarians discovered a mammary gland tumor that required surgery.

The veterinary team carried out the necessary examination, prepared the dog for surgery, and successfully removed the tumor.

After the procedure, the family received recommendations for further care and recovery.

For the family, this was an opportunity to receive timely veterinary care and protect the health of a pet who is an important part of their lives.

The treatment was provided as part of a program implemented by the Ukrainian Veterinary Medicine Foundation (UVMF) with the support of The Edgard & Cooper Foundation to help animals in the Odesa and Kherson regions.

Through the program, animals can receive veterinary consultations, diagnostics, spaying and neutering, vaccinations, treatment, and, when necessary, surgical care.

For UVMF, the partnership with The Edgard & Cooper Foundation makes it possible to support animals and their families at moments when professional veterinary care is especially important.
